CLC is governed by the Board of Governors appointed by the Elders of ECO from members of the Association with such appointments being confirmed at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). The chair of the Board of Governors is the senior pastor of ECO or their representative. Accounting records of CLC are audited annually by a chartered accountant who is not a member of the Association and their report is presented at the AGM.

Country Life Compassion was Incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act 1985 in January 2007 (Incorporation Number A39368).

Initially meeting in the Multipurpose/Community Centre at 30 East.Terrace (now Tyndale Christian College), CLC relocated to 2 Chapel Street Strathalbyn in January 2015.
